Driving Accessibility Innovation: First EAA Nav Pad Installation by Acrelec

Acrelec UK & Ireland is proud to mark a major milestone in accessible technology with the successful installation of our first kiosk featuring an integrated EAA Nav Pad at the first Wendy’s location in Ireland. This deployment represents a significant step forward in creating more inclusive, user-friendly customer experiences.

The EAA Nav Pad is designed to support customers with visual impairments or limited motor skills, enabling easier and more intuitive navigation. Alongside the hardware, the solution includes a full accessible software suite, with high contrast mode and zoom functionality built in—ensuring usability for a wider range of customers.

Notably, this is the first installation of an EAA Nav Pad for Acrelec in Europe, highlighting Acrelec’s continued leadership in accessible innovation. The kiosk is fully aligned with European Accessibility Act (EAA) regulations, helping future-proof the customer journey.

We’re incredibly proud of this achievement and delighted to partner with Wendy’s on such a forward-thinking initiative.
